Installation, Cinque Mostre Exhbition, American Academy in Rome, Italy.  Collaboration with conservationist Anna Serotta and writers Krys Lee and Liz Moore.

The project/performance explored the interpretation of fragmentary material culture by condensing the cycle of creation, destruction and recreation. An original text sourced from Academy fellows was carved into a slab of marble... then broken apart... then extemporaneously re-imagined as prose by the two writers, who only saw fragments of the original.
